Gatwick Airport Directions

London Gatwick Airport is just 28 miles south of London, directly linked to the M23 motorway at junction 9 and to the A23 London-Brighton road. Gatwick is just 10 minutes from the M25 giving access to the UK's extensive motorway network.

There are 24 hour petrol stations at both the North and South terminals.
Be aware that private cars may not stop on the terminal forecourt roads for any purpose other than to drop off and pick up passengers. Unattended cars can be towed away by the police.

Of course they are other alternative ways to get to the airport:

• By Rail, several train operators have services which stop at Gatwick Airport; Thameslink, Southern, South Eastern, First Great Western and Virgin Trains all go to Gatwick.
• The Gatwick Express is a dedicated train service that operates every 15 minutes throughout the day and every hour at night.
• There are regular bus and coach services to Gatwick Airport, the most frequent operated by National Express which connects Gatwick to over 400 towns and cities in the UK.
• Taxis also run to to both the North and South Terminals.
